One of the most famous elite clones in the world and the archetype of many of the most popular gas lines Chem 91 was originally popped from a seed found in some weed scored at a Grateful Dead concert in Deer Creek Indiana in 1991. Chem 91 for many years was a tightly held East Coast US clone in the Massachusetts, New York area where it went on to give birth to many famous cuttings and seed lines, the most well known being Sour Diesel (Chem 91 x Super Skunk mix). That said, be aware that Chem 91 is a fairly difficult clone to grow and bag appeal is slightly below many modern standards. This is a heavy feeding plant that loves Cal Mag and will start to eat itself as soon as food is cut off causing leaf necrosis. This is a powerful classic indica cultivar that has been kept around coast to coast and in multiple countries for over three decades for good reason.
