First appearing in British Columbia grows around 2003 the Rockstar clone quickly rose to the top of the market and became widely considered the top quality production clone in the market. One of the first modern gas type kushes to be grown wide scale in BC, Rockstar became the flower of choice amongst buyers for California’s Kush market that was blowing up at the time with it’s sweet, earthy gas profile and high end bag appeal. Different tags got attached to different crews Rockstar packs and the “Maple Ridge Rockstar” emerged as the top version. Whether it is a unique cut of Rockstar or just an extra tag put on a name is unclear but the cutting we reversed on itself to make these seeds was the Maple Ridge Rockstar. Surviving prohibition, BC lower mainland gang wars fought over it and legalization Rockstar has proven it’s place in BC’s ultra demanding market over decades so we are happy to offer a snapshot of it’s genotype through this S1 release.
