Sour Diesel is an archetype gas line with loud fuel tones and a crushing effect that is more sativa than other classic gas types such as OG, Chem or Bubba. First emerging out of the greater New York city area in the mid 1990’s, Sour Diesel originates out of a cross of Chem 91 and some type of a Super Skunk related line. As one of the first true gas clones to emerge in the US market Sour Diesel quickly blew up, commanding never before seen prices in the East Coast market and maintaining it’s position as one of the top fuel clones worldwide for three decades. Over the years multiple variations and renames of the original Sour Diesel clone have circulated, this particular cutting is the one circulated by Gaby aka Staten Island, most well known for being the original California source of the Chem 91 clone after sourcing it in New England from Chemdog/Greg in the 1990’s and driving it cross country keeping it growing on route in an open soda cup in the cupholder of his tour van. Growing notes: Sour Diesel is a larger more upright habit plant than other kush types like OG’s or Bubbas, plan for a bit of extra space and slightly longer flower time
