Originally released around 1999 by Vic High of BC Growers Association, Space Queen is a cross of Romulan and Cinderella 99. Vic used a different Romulan cutting than the more common one released by Romulan Joe/Federation Seeds/Next Generation Seeds that came from the same area of southern Vancouver Island and was a larger more sativa structured plant. The cutting we offer is an extremely compact plant with massive fan leaves that supports itself without need of staking or trellis. Vic selected the male Cinderella 99 under extreme levels of ultraviolet lighting in a trial to determine if the seedlings most resistant to UV passed along the highest potency. While the science behind that system has still not proven out, Space Queen has outlasted most other cultivars by over 25 years. Space Queen showcases recessive grape/fruit terpene profiles not expressed in the Romulan clone mother while maintaining Romulan’s forehead ridge forming potency. The clone we offer is one of Vic High’s personal selections, kept after his death by someone from his old crew and spread only in the past few years. A true Canadian heirloom journey into Romulan Warbird territory.
